Description
This is a museum-quality cast (replica) of a Ceratosaurus nasicornis skull, an apex predator theropod dinosaur!
These fierce reptiles roamed the Earth during the late Jurassic period (153-148 million years ago), and their bones have been discovered in Utah, Colorado, and Wyoming in the Upper Jurassic Morrison Formation, which is 150 million years old.
This dinosaur was a powerful killing machine, equipped with dozens of sharp, serrated teeth and measuring 7.5m (25ft) in total length.
They are notable for their prominent brow ridges and distinctive nasal horn. Unlike Tyrannosaurus rex, they had four-fingered hands.
This head is based on the famed Crystal Geyser specimen, the most complete adult ceratosaurus skeleton yet unearthed. It was cast in high-quality polyurethane resin and molded straight from the original skull.
Display dimensions: 40″x18″x36″ with mouth open, excluding the display stand.
This is a unique opportunity to privately own a museum-quality specimen, and worldwide delivery is available.
